THE CHILD IS TRULY A MIRACULOUS BEING and this should be felt deeply by the educator. ~Maria Montessori

Enrolling for next year – 2019-2020
Early June update :
We are now fully enrolled for fall 2019. With most children staying with us 3 or even 4 years, we have only a few openings each year – this year we had 4 spots. I do maintain a short wait list, because unexpected changes do happen. Visitors are still welcome. But I don’t like to get too many parents’ hopes up, and we all know that by mid-summer wait lists are unsatisfactory at best, because decisions and plans must be made for your children.
Calendar
Chickadee follows the Beaverton School District calendar for the big date points – opening date in September, legal holidays, Winter and Spring Breaks. But we are a year-round program, and set some dates on our own, including Early and Late Summer Breaks, and we are not closed nearly as often as public schools.
